Delete your GAO Prices account

For the GAO Prices website and Android app

You can ask us to delete your GAO Prices account and the personal data associated with it. You do not need to keep the app installed to make this request.

How to request deletion

1. Email privacy@gaoprices.com from the email address associated with your account.
2. Use the subject line Delete my GAO Prices account.
3. Ask us to delete your account and associated data. Do not send your password.
4. We may reply to confirm the request came from the account owner. We will complete a verified request within 30 days.

You may also use the same email address to request deletion of specific personal data without deleting your account. State which data you want removed in your message.

Data deleted

• Your GAO Prices profile, account identifier, name and email address held by GAO Prices.
• The link between your account and your price reports, confirmations, flags and business submissions.
• Other personal information associated with your account, unless we must retain it for a reason described below.

Data that may be retained

Community price reports may remain available without your personal identifier so that local price history stays useful. Records needed for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance or dispute resolution may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion, or longer when the law requires it. Backup copies may remain until the normal backup cycle is completed and are not used for ordinary product activity.
